Kelly began her real estate career in 1984. A native of Smithfield, North Carolina and a graduate of both Meredith College in Raleigh and Appalachian State University in Boone, she is a former teacher and volunteer coordinator. Kelly has been the Number One Contract Agent with the Number One Team at Fonville Morisey (A Long & Foster Company), a prominent local real estate firm with 850 agents, holding the title of Number One Agent for eight consecutive years! Kelly lists, sells and negotiates for her clients. She is skillful at matching buyers to the home they need to sell. A perennial winner of numerous awards, in 2001 Kelly was featured as one of REALTOR® Magazine’s “Top 100 Residential Salespeople” nationwide! Kelly is co-author of "Get the Best Deal When Selling Your Home," published July, 2005. In August, 2006, Kelly was honored to receive a coveted "Women in Business Award" from the Triangle Business Journal. 

Anne, a graduate of Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri is a native of Raleigh and a team member since 1998. Her extensive experience of owning and managing a family business, as well as handling all the closings for our team for many years, equips her to provide stellar representation for buyers, too. 

Shelley is a North Carolina native who attended Middle Tennessee State University. Her career as a Realtor spans 17 years. Shelley's primary function is business development and office management for the team. Her wide range of talents and boundless energy make her especially suited to overseeing our internet marketing, and managing web site-generated leads.  

Janet has lived in Cary since 1975. A graduate of Winthrop University and native of Clinton, South Carolina, she joined Kelly in 1997. Her experiences as a teacher and community volunteer have given her exceptional people skills. Janet will assist you in real estate marketing or finding just the right home for you. She truly cares about people, and her sensitivity endears her to all she meets. Janet represents both Buyers and Sellers. 

Jean, a native of Texas, joined Fonville Morisey in 1978. Over 26 years of experience in sales, managing, and consulting enable Jean to be an important resource to our team and our clients. She is a graduate of Texas Women’s University, past President of the Raleigh Board of REALTORS ® , Chamber of Commerce Business Person of the Year and holder of many other awards. 

Kelly attended the University of Hartford and moved to North Carolina from Connecticut in 1996. She has eight years experience in the real estate field as both a Buyer's Agent and Real Estate Assistant. As assistant to team member Nancy Schirman, as well as courier for The Kelly Cobb Home Team, Kelly's attention to detail and unflappable personality make her a quality asset to the team.  

Rose Mary is a native of Louisiana but a north Carolinian since 1976. She received her BA degree from Southeastern Louisiana University, and her MS from the University of Southern Mississippi. Her organizational skills and attention to detail make the listing process go smoothly for our clients. Rose Mary welcome challenges and keeps her poise in all her dealings. 

Nancy, an Oregon native, joined Kelly in 1996. Her extensive background in business and accounting is a definite asset in managing the details of purchasing a home. Nancy has the skill, knowledge and experience to make the purchase of a home an enjoyable process. Her care and concern show her buyers that they are her top priority! 

Scooter earned his business degree at Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina and spent 20 years in national and international sales and marketing before joining Fonville Morisey in 1996. He brings his diligence and easygoing nature to fulfilling home Buyers’ and Sellers’ needs. He joined Kelly’s team in 1999. He keeps technologically current and is e-Pro certified for Internet real estate marketing. 

Karen is a native of South Carolina, but has called Cary her home for the past 18 years. With over 18 years of administrative experience, and a warm and friendly personality, Karen is a huge asset to our team and our clients in smoothing the way to trouble-free settlements. 

Susan is a welcome addition to our team and will be listing and selling homes in Johnston County. She grew up and still lives in Smithfield, where she and Kelly were childhood friends. Her focus on community service has led her to serve as past president of the Greater Smithfield-Selma Chamber of Commerce and Habitat for Humanity of Johnston County, former chairman of the Downtown Smithfield Development Corp., a founder of the County YMCA, and a member for eight years of the Smithfield Town Council. She is presently on the Board of Trustees of Centenary United Methodist Church and vice president of the Johnston County Arts Council. 

Wayne, a Michigan native, has been a Broker since 1975 and owned a successful property management firm prior to joining his wife, Kelly. He works as a Buyers’ agent and also assists with numerous other important details. His warm, gracious personality endears him to all.
